On 1 September 2016. Former Veyance Technologies’ Brazilian steel cord and textile conveyor belts producer CVB Produtos Industriais LTDA. in São Paulo is sold to Teak Capital Corporation affiliate Solina Global Corporation Ltd by ContiTech from the Continental group.

Pioneer in the development of Engineered Products, CVB was an integrated business unit of Goodyear which produced the first steel cable belt in the world, in 1942 before being part of Veyance Technologies Inc. CVB manufactured the first Flexsteel belt produced in 1976, remaining for decades as the only steel cable belt manufacturer in Brazil. Today CVB remains the quality and safety steel cord conveyor belt leader in Brazil.
